Autumn colors week day 4...Grey

I'm playing along with Poppytalk's Autumn Colours week this week.

No school today...here are grey's from today's picnic on the playground near the beach.

And a some grey's from our trip to the apple orchard.

Autumn colors week day 1...Red

I'm playing along with Poppytalk's Autumn Colours week this week.  Taking photographs during this transition into the darker months is always difficult for me.  This challenge seems like a good way to focus on using the days light when we have it.

Today's reds

• red peppers drying in the kitchen

• leaf caught in the evergreen
• geranium

Tomorrow...yellow.

There is a lot going on.  I'm feeling quiet.  So...no words today, but I still love seeing what I have on my camera from last week.  Here is a look at Saturday-Friday.  Hope you had a lovely weekend.

Monday...Time to get busy on my postcards for the swap...I started by doing a little dyeing.

 
Tuesday...the entryway looks very confusing...exactly what season is it?

 
Wednesday...finding blooms in my garden

 
Thursday...searching for hard-to-find wire hangers in my closet...this challenge is on my mind (could only find these three).
Friday...Peanut is really into paint-by-numbers...and just like his mama, he has several projects going at once.

Day five and final post of Poppytalk's spring colors week.  Lots of varying shades of white to be found at the farm last weekend.

 
That was fun.  I sure loved seeing all the spring colors during this drab season.

Day four of Poppytalk's spring colors week.  Lavender?  What lavender.  This was a tough color to find at the farm last weekend.

Isn't there a famous quote about pigs and roses?  It escapes me.  Tomorrow, lavendar.  Even harder to find on the farm than the pink.
