My peaceful, calm morning on my daily walk around the lake near my house.
Apparently, perfect conditions for the burning of the marsh lands.
This prescribed burn by the DNR is a yearly happening by the lake, but I've never been present to see it. It was quite a show! They do this controlled burning to prevent woody plant growth and reduce thatch build up and maintain natural habitat.
