A little knitting project from February.
I cast on for these fingerless gloves during The Oscars with less than a week to make two, a gift for my mother for her birthday.
I surprised myself and actually got them done (just in the nick of time).
She loved them.
Mom had been wanting some to keep her wrists warm while working on her computer.
Making a pair of something frightens me just a bit...(thinking back to Julen's leg warmers). It's easy to make one, nice even. Making a second has it's challenges. I didn't feel that way with these. A nice simple, easy to follow pattern that makes me think I'll be making these again.

The bottom photo shows how much yarn I had left after they were knit and stitched up the seams. Too little yarn and way too close for my comfort, but I made it!
