It's that time of year again...the Great Minnesota Get-together.
Julen came with me this year...no stroller and no complaints. He was a good companion.
...the biggest pumpkin...
(849.5 pounds...not as big as lasts years 1,036, but still quite impressive)
There was the trash sculpture...made entirely out of garbage pulled out of the Mississippi River.
-A visit to the agriculture building...
-A stop in the Creative Arts building...
Wool bead mobiles...(inspiration for a preschool project?)
The most amazing hand knit mittens (is there a needle smaller than a zero?)
(These were perfect! Way to go Carolyn Vance!)
I wondered which chocolate chip cookies (with the secret ingredient) belonged to a friend of mine
The prettiest honey and vinegars.
Time to sit and watch the parade...
Called Anna so she could hear a bit of the band
