Welcome to September. As always, summer just flew right by. Although it isn't quite autumn yet, Peanut started first grade this week (*sob*) and I start back at the preschool full time on Tuesday so it feels to me like summer is officially over.
Here's a look back at our summer...
...there was soccer twice a week
...I finally taught that eager to learn boy of mine to knit
...swimming almost every day
...Peanut taught me a good lesson in optimism...the bent one, the one I thought for sure would not make it, with love and care turned into this
...there were many adventures
...flowers
...many trips to the beach
...Julen loved "playing family" in the garden while I weeded

...a trip to Crystal Cave with cousins
...and finally, time to say good-bye to brother as Peanut goes back to school
Now...autumn to look forward to.
