There is just always so much going on...try as I might to keep up with it all, I can't.
Out-of-country guests, in and out of the house, birthday parties, reunions, soccer, teaching summer camps, swimming, beach, (more) flooded basement, a garage to paint, TWO houses to care for...my own AND my preschool house...which only means...two lawns to mow, two gardens to keep, two sets of bills to stay on top of, laundry in two houses...you get the picture. I just continue to float on through my days doing what I can when I can, with no rhythm at all...letting the moment kind of drive my day along. It's distracting. And not very productive.
At least we're having fun.
We've been taking advantage of all the local fresh berry picking...it's been frozen blended fruit as treats almost every day.
And we've had lots of time outside. Here, hiking near the Mississippi River (I only noticed the beer can now...ugh, that's what hiking in the city is all about).
I hope summer has been treating you well.
I can't wait to show you the gardens we created in fairy garden camp last week...if only I can get some decent photos.
