Once I learned how...I went a little crazy knitting gnomes. Gnome after gnome after gnome. Until I had quite a pile of them.
It's the perfect way to use up small bits of wool yarn. And I'm always finding skeins of wool at the thrift store that really can't be used for any big projects.
I decided they would make good ornaments for Amy's Annual Christmas ornament swap-here are the gnomes I sent her.
And here are the amazing ones I got in return.
There will be more gnomes in my future I'm sure, but for now I'm taking a little break. If you'd like to try knitting some of these, Plain and Joyful Living has generously offered their pattern for us to use. Don't know how to knit? You can always buy one here.
I had just enough of the blue and white yarn to give wet felted marbles a try.
I may have to try this with the kids at the preschool...Peanut and Julen have been having so much fun with them. Not sure how to play? Check it out here.
Enjoy your weekend!
