The attic project that began with the laying of the squash court floor continues. We keep getting closer to finishing, but it feels like it's taking forever. One of our problems is we go back and forth so much on color. We've changed it twice already, but were feeling so "blah" about the latest velvet leaf/island coral color combo. So last weekend we strugggled to find yet another color we would be happy about...and I think we finally did. We're very excited about asparagus. For now anyway. We found the Color Smart chart at Behr very useful and quite fun to mess around with.
I'm taking a break this week from my "volunteer job" as a preschool teacher and picked up a free lance job in my city. Trying to explain to Peanut what was going on I told him he would be spending some time at Grandmas so I could go back to my old job for a few days.
"What's your old job, Mama?"
"Don't you remember sweetheart? You know, the job I had where I used to have to fly all over the world to go to work?"
"Oh yeah...when you used to be a SUPER HERO!!"
Out of the mouth of babes...that boy of mine sure knows how to make me smile.
