Jeepers. I step away from this little old blog of mine for a while and I just find it way too hard to jump back in. It's been almost a month since my last post. To be fair, I'm still just as crazy busy as I was in June. I finished up my Lifeways training though, which was a huge relief. After my time in Milwaukee it seems I haven't had a chance to catch my breath. There was a twenty-fifth wedding anniversary to cook for, an adoption celebration, friends visiting from Seattle, a funeral, a surgery (not for me) and I slipped back into my old job and worked four days in town. There has been painting to do at home, and tons of work at the Preschool house, licensing and business contracts and brochures to create. And remember these guys?
How can I possibly resist just hanging out on a quilt on the floor with these two?
Anyway...on it goes and I just continue to take on one task at a time. So, yes, this blog had to take a backseat for a while. What has been quite daunting is the 350+ unopened emails in my in-box and the 2300+ new blog entries over at Bloglines. Yipes!! I peek in and get scared off before I even open one blog page. But all in good time. I've missed seeing what you are up to.
For now I want to share a bit of my new vintage fabric score I found in Milwaukee.
100% cotton. Lovely colors. Trees and houses. What could be better?
And since this is my 200th post (can you believe it took 2 1/2 years to get to 200?), I've decided to have a little fat quarter give-away of this gorgeous fabric. I will pull a name from comments on this post Friday.
Hope you are all enjoying your summer!!
