Here's what we made at the preschool this week.
I did find those clothespins I was looking for, so the kids made these sweet + fancy people. I'm getting better at just putting the supplies out (not being too involved) and seeing what happens...seeing where the children travel with their imaginations.

On another note...have you seen this new drawing by mummysam? It makes me smile every time I look at it.
Children are such wonderful creatures and I am so blessed I get to work with them every day. We have our share of literal and imaginative kids at the preschool. Just today when we were reviewing some ways we could help our new student, one child offered "we could set a good example", another said, "we could teach her some school rules" and a third said "postman".
