After a joyful summer, we opened our doors to the preschool today thus beginning our fifth year at Willow House. It's incredible to think how far we have come. We have learned so much and been given the opportunity to teach even more. It has been a true blessing. And because of our wonderful parents who have been strong advocates of our program since the very beginning, we have had great success maintaining a full program.
For Julen, this is his final year as a preschooler. When we started the school, he was only eight months old-the youngest we will ever have at our preschool. And now to think this will be the last year he will come to work with me every morning. I'm sure it won't really hit me until next spring.
There have been many changes to our physical space since the very beginning, but a lot has stayed the same too. Here is just a sampling of what it looks like today...
