I felt very brave this year and allowed my seven-year-old to carve his own pumpkin. He did a great job and all fingers are intact.
Saturday we met friends in the park for Halloween fun...fortune telling, a haunted house, dancing, games and rats to hold.
We made pumpkin bread, roasted pumpkin seeds and had a little pumpkin making craft.
One easy cut from the cuff of an orange felted wool sweater,
a few stitches, stuff it, add a stem and stitch closed and we had a small bowl full in minutes.
