What a terrific idea! I'll have to file it away for when my little guy and his friends are a bit older.

Oh I would havebeen delighted as a child to get this. I remember boxes of beads to thread on string.

Now that my toddler is past eating/tasting/choking stage, he's going to love getting one of these for xmas!

awesome! I've been planning a gift like this for various birthdays upcoming up and I love your suggestions for inclusions!

This is such a great idea! I am going to have to put something like this together for my niece for Christmas!

Can I ask... where did you get those butterflies??? They are awesome!

This is a great idea and I think my girls will love giving it to their friends. I tend towards giving Barnes and Nobel gift certificates and my 7 year old always wants to give her friends Polly Pockets. I'm sure this will be something we can agree on.

looks like a winner to me!

I agree with your 5 year old - I would have loved to get something like that as a child - especially the acorn and helicopter seeds version (even as a little girl I wasn't 'sparkly'...).

Such a great idea, K!

I think my niece NEEDS one of these.

That is such a lovely idea! I love how you foster these skills in your children :)

what a wonderful and creative idea!
i would love it if my children were gifted something like this rather than just receiving "stuff"
