is the name we chose for our little preschool. I carved this gnome house stamp to use on all of our documentation and also made a tiny leaf to decorate a willow tree arching over it.
It's pretty simple, but that was the look we were going for. What we have been lacking at our school, however, is willow.
Take one dear and very generous friend who provided the willow and add this vision (scroll down) and what I got was one dream come true. Our very own willow house for the kids to play in.
It started with a pick-up truck full of willow.
We simply pushed willow branches into the ground and then weaved them together.
We continued weaving the branches in until all the gaps had been closed up.
It took us less than three hours to complete from start to finish. Here's a side view.
You can bet it got played in immediately as the children squealed in delight at the sight of it.
I couldn't be happier now that Willow House has it's very own play house made out of willow.
What a gift!
The stamp is also very nice.
Things can and need to be simple.
Have a nice day!

What a perfect gift for the children! I'm sure it's the most popular spot in the yard.

This reminds me of the 'playhouse' we used to have under a friend's weeping willow tree. Such a great idea.

PS I really do like the stamp too. Simple is good. It makes a statement in itself.

I know no one wants to think of this now, but I'm reminded, because I can picture right where this is. Won't that be the best covered in snow?! No more fighting over the tiny aisle by the garage to stay out of the wind!

Oh! Also, I might be coming up there in September. Brian has a show the 1-3, so if he gets all registered for it, I'll come with!

Nice stamp you made, and the willow house is fun too! If you water it enough, it will grow, and you can weave all the new trunks and leaves :-)

Hi,
I love the information you post on your site and feel like it is very useful. My husband and I recently started an area rug website. We are trying to get the business going, and were wondering if you would be willing to put a link to our site from yours. Our site is www.arearugbug.com. We are still trying to get it completed, but would love it if you would post our link. You can put the link anywhere you feel that it would not distract from your own information. If this is something that you are interested in please contact me at taraivers@gmail.com and we would be glad to send you a great new bread mix from our food storage business as a thank you.
Thanks, Tara

They have these really cool willow structures made by someone named Patrick Dougherty at a museum/park here. I always think they'd be perfect for playhouses!
