What a relaxing weekend at the farm. It's peony season and probably my favorite time of year to go for a visit.
Peony fields that seem to have no end.
After a day of cutting, I love to peek in the cooler.
John always tucks a batch of flowers into the trunk of our car before we leave...such a wonderful surprise to get back to the city and see the huge package there. They are so fragrant and blooming beautifully.
(Yes, we have monkeys hanging from the chandelier in the dining room...doesn't everyone?)
And I can't believe it, but my boy is three...I can hardly call him Peanut anymore.
Three years ago he was such a tiny thing.
